2019-03-23 08:13:30 UTC

unpopular opinion: Trump has failed his presidency´s biggest part

2019-03-23 08:22:29 UTC

Which part was that

2019-03-23 08:23:23 UTC

debt

2019-03-23 08:23:50 UTC

Trump´s one of the biggest proposals was to deal with the debt

2019-03-23 08:24:20 UTC

yet, in 2018 federal budget deficit rose by 17%

2019-03-23 08:24:33 UTC

thats 779 billion USD

2019-03-23 08:24:53 UTC

thats like 30x the GDP of Estonia

2019-03-23 08:25:06 UTC

and that Debt is rising

2019-03-23 08:25:22 UTC

and who is buying up that debt? China

2019-03-23 08:26:25 UTC

US currently has the leverage over china in a trade war, but if china could build their own currency to be strong enough in africa and mid-east and diversify with EUR, then they could use those same debt bills to fuck US

2019-03-23 08:37:08 UTC

Nuke China

2019-03-23 08:37:09 UTC

👌

2019-03-23 11:59:47 UTC

Comparison to Estonia is false equivalency

2019-03-23 12:00:15 UTC

You said it rose by 17% is that less more than Obama years?

Im not saying its more than in Obama years. Im just saying that one of the main promises in his campaign was to reduce the debt. But he instead took more debt to make tax cuts that have failed to spark the economic growth they thought they would.

2019-03-23 12:43:42 UTC

They still havent realised its not the 60s anymore.

2019-03-23 12:44:05 UTC

US isnt an industry based economy.

2019-03-23 12:44:25 UTC

Most of the world economies have now moved to 3rd sector

2019-03-23 12:44:46 UTC

And tax cuts wont have that effect in 3rd sector

2019-03-23 12:45:30 UTC

What US must aim for, is more automatisation and the rise of productivity.

2019-03-23 12:45:53 UTC

But as long as there is cheap mexican labour, companies wont even bother to do that

2019-03-23 15:16:31 UTC

Dont forget

2019-03-23 15:16:36 UTC

We can just zero the debt

2019-03-23 15:16:50 UTC

Just initiate a coup in the U.S. government

2019-03-23 15:19:31 UTC

Not to mention debt is somewhat important in a government like the U.S.

2019-03-23 15:19:43 UTC

The U.S. can never be a creditor nation in its current status

2019-03-23 20:09:28 UTC

Guys isn't Obama a tiny bit Communist?

2019-03-23 20:09:43 UTC

why
