@Deleted User There's nothing wrong with getting more money. Rich people have improved the lives of everyone. If you want people out of poverty you need to make more jobs. Welfare programs haven't been very successful at all

2019-04-29 22:19:23 UTC

Of course not

2019-04-29 22:19:28 UTC

In the US, people are addicted to welfare

2019-04-29 22:19:34 UTC

For instance when LBJ incentivized singe motherhood

2019-04-29 22:19:34 UTC

intentionally or unintentionally

2019-04-29 22:19:43 UTC

The UK Welfare system is still better than the US

2019-04-29 22:20:10 UTC

I rather have people wean off welfare

2019-04-29 22:20:27 UTC

than forced to lose their entire welfare benefits because they made $1 more in a year that they weren't supposed to touch

2019-04-29 22:20:38 UTC

It kills the human potential and man's will to power

2019-04-29 22:22:18 UTC

People aren't encouraged to get on their feet when they are on welfare. They know if they do they'll get less money.

2019-04-29 22:22:41 UTC

Which is why you should get weaned off welfare

2019-04-29 22:22:47 UTC

People don't naturally want to mooch off welfare

2019-04-29 22:22:49 UTC

but they're forced to

2019-04-29 22:23:01 UTC

If you get $2k/month from subsidized housing payments

2019-04-29 22:23:11 UTC

but you lose that $2k/month because you made $40k/year instead of $39k/year

2019-04-29 22:23:39 UTC

then it makes sense people are addicted to welfare

2019-04-29 22:28:07 UTC

@Gerry Think of all our money as a Pie

2019-04-29 22:28:47 UTC

Rich people are getting rich yes. but the pie it's self is getting bigger. Poor are getting the same portion but the pie it's self is bigger

2019-04-29 22:28:56 UTC

The Slice is it's self

2019-04-29 22:38:05 UTC

But the rich people take parts of the poor peoples pie

2019-04-29 22:38:39 UTC

So the rich get richer while the poor stay poor

2019-04-29 22:39:23 UTC

based

2019-04-29 22:39:42 UTC

reminder that there are some people that would rather have the poor poorer provided that the rich were less richer

2019-04-30 00:23:05 UTC

It's important to remember welfare rarely if ever affects productivity or employment of workers and causes more good than harm, however extended unemployment insurance can cause more harm than good when it comes to employment

2019-04-30 00:24:38 UTC

However the affects on employment is very small

2019-04-30 01:05:40 UTC

@Chemar but if they don't at least clean up their act they lose their benefits.

2019-04-30 01:06:34 UTC

In my area, we enforce rules on who is allotted said benefits nd welfare. They must have a job, proper initiative to continue to progress their life, etc. Otherwise they get the plug pulled on them.

2019-04-30 02:10:12 UTC

@Gerry Stop repeating that phrase It's not correct at all

2019-04-30 02:10:30 UTC

Politicians like bernie sanders say that shit all the time

2019-04-30 03:34:21 UTC

Communists have big gay

2019-04-30 06:33:41 UTC

It is

2019-04-30 06:34:11 UTC

There is a reason for why the ten richest people have more than the poorest one billion people

2019-04-30 12:49:25 UTC

You do realize our GPD is growing right?

2019-04-30 12:49:37 UTC

Rich are getting richer and poor are getting richer

2019-04-30 12:49:39 UTC

we are at 57000 a year

2019-04-30 12:49:44 UTC

higher than anywhere else

2019-04-30 12:49:50 UTC
2019-04-30 13:03:54 UTC

I mean I think it's a good sign that the poorest people in the US and UK are overweight rather than skinny

2019-04-30 13:04:15 UTC

It means that, while they're not eating the best food, they are at least getting a hold of something

2019-04-30 13:04:34 UTC

Compare this to nations in Central Africa, Venezuela, China, India

2019-04-30 13:04:52 UTC

Where the poor are so skinny and starved, they already look like dead corpses
