Hitler wasn't a socialist either he was a fascist which is a third position ideology separate from Socialism, communism, and capitalism. And fascism still likes the idea of private property. Just because they label themselves as a socialist doesn't mean they are you need to look at the meaning of the word socialism and then apply it.
