Idk I mean I personally like a few metal bands that's what I would listen to. but I can understand why people prefer this I could see why a lot of metal is obnoxious, if you don't like it it's just some guy shouting at you then a guitar solo (no good for working out) . It's obviously a much cleaner sound as well maybe it helps you focus.
