Used to carry a 1911 around iwb, then beretta 92 because fuck it why not I get 5 dollar mags from the surplus shop
But it didnt fit me
As.much as i loved it
51+1 in a holsterable sidearm. Can still use Irons underneath the RDS. Brace is spring loaded and screams out with the push of a level. My fucking noob ass can make a 3-6 inch group at 50 yards.
I do wanna add a 44 mag wheel gun to my collection soon too, maybe one of those smith n wesson 629
** lever
nice dude, I see you went with the flux brace. How do they work?
Fucking amazing. I was one of the first fifty to get one.
@Tiy991 looks cyberpunk as fuck I like it
Had to do a little dremeling to get the x-5 to drop in and get the trigger to work right, but the dudes in Utah helped me out
dope dude. I would love an extra chassis to do that to a 320, although it is kinda getting into PDW territory there
@Deadbeat Radio yoo, I used that noire detective model in a game Im running
Morning yall.
I won't lie, it's a bit like carrying a .50 DEagle on your hip, but it's worth it.
Dude, it's afternoon
It's just small enough to be carryable everyday.
I assume you open carry it?
@thedarkness05 nice man what game? Also anyone else getting cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out?
also morning @INNYGMATYK
I've always sucked dick with pistols. Had a 1911, could not qualify with my militia group to carry it. Could not do a 3 inch group at 11 yards to save my life. The MP17 pushes your accuracy out to minimally 50 yards.
@Deadbeat Radio my starfinder game. He was a lashunta Detective who gave zero fucks and had no issue body bagging perps n doing unsanctioned raids to get the job done
Far enough at least that you have to start factoring in bullet drop.
This is coming from someone with seriously low skill with pistols.
@INNYGMATYK what's up homie? How are you?
> I assume you open carry it?
@thedarkness05
Oh yeah, the holster is an extra $200, but totally worth it. It's phenominal.
@thedarkness05 sounds like a dope set up. I love that neo noir feel.
yeah 50 yards is about pushing it to where you're effective with a pistol anyways
You can always throw it on a sling too.
The absolute best way to get better at shooting handguns is to #1 Dry fire practice every day and #2 Shoot USPSA or IDPA competitions as often as possible. Sauce: A guy who's a hell of a lot better with pistols than he is with rifles
Pretty much, yeah, at 50yrds, it's time to grab your AR/AK
I feel you @Bard I have more formal training with my sidearm than my rifle. Mostly because the Armed Guard course focuses solely on pistols
@Deadbeat Radio hangin in there p:
Hope yall are well
Speaking of, Its almost time for me to requal with my duty pistol
> The absolute best way to get better at shooting handguns is to #1 Dry fire practice every day and #2 Shoot USPSA or IDPA competitions as often as possible. Sauce: A guy who's a hell of a lot better with pistols than he is with rifles
@Bard
What?? Lmao, dude, I feel like rifles are the easiest thing in the world. Like I start every new to guns friend on an AR-15. They always ask, "Shouldn't I start on a pistol?" and I'm like, "Pistols are hard and recoil more"
@Tiy991 ikr it's whack, when I say that I mean that I have a lot more "dynamic" trigger time with handguns than I do with rifles
I gotcha man. I'm not trash talking or anything. Most people would run circles around me with a conventional pistol.
I am far more experienced shooting and moving with pistols because of my circumstances i.e. the only place that does competitions within an hour of me at a reasonable scale and price
That place being a pistol club that does full scale USPSA comps pretty much every weekend
There aren't even any competitions/tactical training ranges around me and it's killing me. I'm in VA FFS, the "home of the NRA". I have to build or find a local with a range.
big oof
Fuck that sucks dude
