@ZombieQueen shouldn't ya be working
It's not a problem at all really, Meerkat is just being courteous. He knows I'm trying to learn a bit of Afrikaans as it is, so.
where you from?\
@ZombieQueen lets start at the swear words....
Fokken
poes
America. Alabama to be more specific. @Voortrekker
thats not a nice thing to teach a lady
@Voortrekker . Going to the river house for the holiday. But apparently the farmers nearby are allso feeling the drought. My concern is they are going to have to suck the river dry to maintain their crops.
poes means pussy, you say it like puss
ma se poes
sorry that is one of the most offenisive swear words in afrikaans
@BraaiBroodjie Yes and also if they take it from the rivir the possibility for crop desease is high, as the Vaal is polluted it runs into the Oranje aswell
We reeds situated next to the Vaal.
Cant there be one day that furries arent mentioned in this server? @Meerkat_RSA
💔
Wishful thinking
@Voortrekker i allready has in voice chat. furries are a cancer and people need to talk about cancer
Makes sense
@Voortrekker. I honestly think next year is going to test the sustainability of our food security.
It might, the east is done planting, they have higher yields but the bulk of SA pap comes from Western Transvaal
GG @Voortrekker, you just advanced to level 3!
I can easily see lamb prices going R250/1Kg
Here in the Karoo shit is getting tight.
The kak part about droughts is, it is not only the farmer who suffers. 1 Farmer pays for services from
1.Fertilizer rep
2.Pesticide/Crop Protection Rep
3. Seed Rep
4.Maize Trader
5.Diesel rep
6.Animal medicine rep if he has animals
7.Tractors and implements rep
8. Not to mention all the small bussiness in town i.e family restaurants
All that adds to food pricing.
no, the food pricing gets added from the abatoir and packaging afterwards
the farmer doesnt decide the price
the farmer is a price taker
Yes but allot of farmers in the area sell their own meat.
unless its a niche market
yes true, but way cheaper than in P&P
True. But the quality is not up to parr
