You need to integrate them into society

you assume the immigrant has the same values and will keep the nation the way it is

the immigrant may not appreciate the way of life they're moving in to and will vote against what made the country worth moving in to to begin with

And the thing with that is that it might take just as long to integrate them as it is to raise a child

certain immigrants categorically will not vote in any manner that isn't consistent with their religious beliefs
