works in most things that are considered between an axe and a sword
this thing
Basically it is a round that has a piston that pushes the bullet out
Right, but the beak opposite of the axe is a bit too curved it seems to make use of the forward curve.
And seals gasses in
Maybe the axe fell off at some point and was put on backwards?
I'm not at my computer, @Schedrevka when I am, I'll find what I'm looking for. One of his videos does have a polearm style axe I think with a pretty noticable bend.
idk it looks fine to me
based on stuff like uhhh
kukri's are pretty popular
yeah, which is why if it were turned it would make sense
idk it seems fine, usually you aim to hit with the center area, but again, it's a video game weapon so 🤷🏻
oh, I was talking about the flintlock above it
The native americans actually made some clubs based off of rifle stocks since they work pretty well for that
ah that lmao
and i just thought of a great example too
Where's that from?
the philippenes
I was going to guess SEA
i fukkin love filipino weapons ngl
that or africa
Yeah they have some really unique ones
this is now pre-firearms chat
Theres quite the variety in melee weapons in SEA for some reason
Some areas just seemed to experiment more. Like india for example
well there''s a pretty big variety just about everywhere really
except the japs, who could only ever figure out 2 melee weapon designs
I mean its them making the most out of their meagre iron deposits
Hey, they had katanas, big katanas, small katanas, katanas on sticks... the list could go on!
Like, bladed, and spears?
That was it.
i really dislike japanese melee weapons, to the surprise of everyone i've ever met
They definitely have a certain elegance to them, but aside from gimmick weapons like kusarigama they really don't have much variety
I think they are overrated. But in their context, it was the best they could do
