Auru, don't be mean, we are all guilty of words that are more present in our native language
I'm not being mean, I'm giving you fair warning
Language tells you more about someone's politics than what they say does
And people who use the term problematic are not people you want in your group if you have any hope of keeping it functional
"problematic" in english means politicized stuff now
You reminded me why i dont spend times in groups much
it is different elsewhere
20 years ago, "problematic" meant real problems
the word changed and now people get nervous when you use it
never heard of it
spoken english is widely varied within US/UK
doesn't make it into media so much
so very hard to tell
english is all connotation anyway, less denotation
the proof of this is in how phrases have such currency
our fault for being a fusion language
basically norwegian a thousand years ago, then add french, german and ten thousand little influences
i love english, but it is a total mutt
