if you wanted to do it simple you would have just used single LED's

your ICs and a simple I/O expander

hell, you probably don't even need an i/o expander

you could do dual color and get red/green

then have everything turn red when the slide locked back

but even then you need a lot of dithering to account for the person shooting on the accellerometer unless you're using a switch. and if you're using a switch you're a retard because that shit will break in a stone cold minute of being punished.

they could be dropping something on the firing pin which would be good since it's exposed and metal

Intersting product I saw at Meprolight today

a gun sight, similar to a red dot type scope, but it's I think OLED. It can be synced to your computer, and phone, and it allows user programability. including customized reticle.

when I was looking through it, it was yellow. I believe it is RGB.

many sights nowadays offers dual colors of green and red . as green tends to stand out more in bright sunlight

@OliveBlanc for a while ive been thinking about having a bunch of electrical contacts on the follower in the mag so it can know how many rounds are in it based on follower position, and then that could be shown in a red dot or something
