and that "12 firearms policy" seems unnecessary, maybe if you want to arm your neighbors sure lol
I'd say 2-3 ARs, 2 full sized handguns, and 1 ccw handgun, a .22lr if you can't afford to regularly shoot .223/9mm and a hunting rifle if you hunt
in a shtf situation you could hunt fine with an ar15
One from each group, and double up in case one goes down. Or in terms of CCW 2 pairs so if you are in a shooting you have a spare to protect you when the Media sends monsters after you.
