Right on, I love all of that guys movies.
Well all may be a bit much.
But showgirls, robocop, starship troopers, and basic instinct are all fantastic. As long as you don't take them seriously.

Tails is gonna be super gay.
Not gonna lie, Tails is pretty cute, and IMO the best sanuc character. I also notice it's got Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman which is... A strange but perhaps excellent choice. Still probably not gonna see this thing as I'm not very optimistic, but at least I'll be keeping an eye on it

I was a bit "eh" about the Deadchu movie as well first time I saw it as well, because it looked to me like an everyday real world City with a strange Pikachu in it, then I rewatched it and saw the literally dozens of Pokemon onscreen, so well integrated into the style they completely passed me by the first time. The birds are all Pokemon. The flowers are flower Pokemon. And so on. And with that new insight.... Yeah, it fits. This was a good call I think, perhaps the only real alternative would have been full CGI in a Pixar or modern Disney style. Reck it Ralph or Wall-E style, but that would clash with the anime style us who watched the anime growing up are familiar with. No, I think this was the best way to do it, integrate Pokemon and integrate them well into a real world. I got over the uncanny valley as well
