apparently there are already calls for more gun laws in the US...here's a thought; how about you work on your health care system instead of even more strict gun laws. He apparently had confessed to classmates about torturing and murdering animals and found the thoughts of them enjoyable, not to mention the teachers had said he was a disturbed person. If the US had a better healthcare system, he could have gotten the help he obviously needed and 17 people wouldn't be dead, and 15 others wouldn't be injured at his hands. Even if you managed to eliminate guns from the US completely, including illegal ones (lets just say it happened for argument's sake) that isn't going to stop ANYONE who truly wants to hurt people from hurting them. They WILL find other ways. They will either make explosives, stab them, poison them, release gaseous chemicals onto places; they will find other alternatives to hurting people. If the healthcare system was better, this might not have happened and he might have been recognized as a disturbed person and got the help he needed.
