This trend is so lame I actually feel a bit of shadenfreude watching that
What... trend
speaking of that gun thing
lots of law enfocement actually use this scene because it's accurate as hell
Same goes for this video
Lmao
Yeah it's chilling.
lol yep. that's how you get the workers on your side.
I'm all into capitalism and I think tipping is retarded though
As someone who as used my tip jar for my drugs I have to disagree. It is a good motivator for good service when you're feeling shitty and a good weapon to bash shitty workers around the head with.
I've heard black people don't tip much if at all. #Entitlement
but it assumes that you deserve bad service
if a service is bad somewhere, you just won't go there anymore. Simple
How? There's a standard, then there's above that line
Yeah if the service is below standard just don't go. Unless the food is to die for, then proceed to get food poisoning but just can't quit it
I'm in Japan, all service is "above the line". Tipping is forbidden
I prefer it this way actually
That makes sense for you then
restaurants that have better service always tend to get more success anyway. So I don't think tipping makes any difference
I wouldn't like to see a future in which Japan loses its nationalist superiority. That'd be a hard fall.
It also shifts the risk to the employee
We had a waitress that didn't care about her work. She didn't do anything wrong but her heart was not in it. Showing her tips from tables that didn't have her at the end of the night could show her in numbers that we aren't just talking shit. She really was grumpy and it effected everyoner.
it's the employer responsibility, if he keeps her, it's affecting his business directly
a model that benefits waiters that sell more is better for both imo
Sucks if tips are pooled, Poppy. hope that didnt happen to you
It wasn't though. Not in a way he could fire her for. If someone doesn't come back you can't prove that.
They were.
boo
@zero_consequences related to what you said above btw.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljPTcUMT4co
And Pot wash, where I started got half share.
I'm sorry but after that musical intro I half expected to see .30 seconds of Godzilla in that 11min clip--just like any other gojira film put out. 👍🏻
talking about immigration and japan
it doesnt work
But as a more national, traditional argument... immigration aside, there are ideas floating that want to make Japan more of a home institution and less business-oriented. This may be a good thing but it also incepts the idea of personhood/happiness over productivity/responsibility
Because Japan will otherwise just work itself into nothing with near negative pop replacement rates
