Seems unnecessary given that their unpersoning campaign is proceeding virtually unopposed. Why resort to violence and take such a risk when they can just continue banning everyone they want from every platform they want?
Imagine how easy it would be to convince people he's calling for violence with a deepfake. Even if people could easily prove it was fake that would cause a lot of damage and be a strong tool for arguing for a controlled press.
