so the average ar15 is not full auto they can INDEED be made full auto but it requires an auto sear, requires an extra slot in the lower receiver, as for the magazine vs clip argument a clip and a magazine are two very different things

a magazine is a bullet delivery system that is detachable and puts the bullets into the gun with a spring guided system

a clip is a delivery system that simply holds the bullets for you to deliver them.
