a good law is made by having knowledge on the situation and having statistics to see if your correction would make any difference.
@luke5135 βif our lawmakers were better educated on the laws they're makingβ
yes
I mean, that applies to anything
especially when it comes to guns
No really anything
yes
and that is another problem
many lawmakers don't know their ass fro ma hole inthe ground
they should talk to experts
instead of just spewing out random shit
yea
and this is why I think it'd be better if we had people who actually were in touch with whats happening to be the lawmakers
cause they would be able to make effective laws to actually curb the problems
whether it be drugs, guns, violence, substance abuse, or thievery.
if someone knows nothing of the topic they wont be able to make effective laws

sociopathy is both a survival trait and of great importance when making decisions on such a large scale.
cause sometimes you have to step back and not let your eyes be clouded by emotion
otherwise you'll be ruled by your emotion
there is such a thing as acceptable casualties
and the current rate of gun deaths a year would be classed as an acceptable casualty
Eat up
thats just being rational
not a sociopath lol

posting memes doesn't make my point any less valid
to many political leaders use emotion to sway their voter base
and that is not a good thing for anyone
and lets be honest here
there are 18k gun HOMICIDES year in the united states.
20k suicides
the suicides actually outpace the homicides
we should work on lowering the bigger number first
this does not mean we should stop people who have had mental illnesses that were solved to not own guns
