it was rarely an issue, but it was so easy to keep managed it made it pointless. All it would do is give you that one time were you forgot because you were focused on doing something crazy and then you pass out and get annoyed
I'm a bit so-so on the weapon breakage as well. Jamming weapons is fine and can be fun, but they broke down too fast and for no reason, and with no way to repair them. Games like STALKER handle that better with the ability to repair your favorites back at base. Not like you ever ran out of guns/ammo in FC2, but it did happen that you ran out of *favorite* guns
yeah, the weapon breakage could have been done better.
i think jams and just requiring cleaning on low condition weapons is the better route.
maybe have things get so gummed up they don't work until you clean them
but make that time take a while

It's pretty sweet that they got Primitive Technologies dude to do the ending. Other than that it was just lame social awareness be and fortnite

Yeah but there was never any real "managing" to consider, you were drowning in AK-47s and FALs and ammo for them, and those are still two of the best weapons in the game, while you were only really affected by weapon degradation if you tried to use something fun and limited, like MP5
