But yeah, his personality quirks and ego are awful.

2020-02-19 12:41:58 UTC

I didn't get that impression from him. He didn't seem to care about Fuentes all that much unless Fuentes was casually shitting on him or punching right from an American nationalist optics perspective whilst also making cookiecaust memes

2020-02-19 12:42:12 UTC

Spencer definitely has a big ego

2020-02-19 12:44:53 UTC

And as far as success is concerned I don't think he was concerned about Nick's success from a subscriber/viewership angle and he downplayed the importance of groyperism in his podcast

2020-02-19 12:45:05 UTC

I could see spencer being a fed as well tbh

2020-02-19 12:45:22 UTC

Possibly

2020-02-19 12:45:36 UTC

It's not unlikely he was an informant

2020-02-19 12:45:40 UTC

Not an agent

2020-02-19 12:46:10 UTC

i can't stand listening to people who sound this gay for longer than a sentence

2020-02-19 12:49:48 UTC

based

2020-02-19 12:50:44 UTC

what the heck, why did my emoji just disappear

2020-02-19 12:51:12 UTC

Richard Spencer comes from a completely different ideology than Nick. In fact, I don't know if he actually has a salient political stance. All his beliefs seem to center around grandiose abstract concepts.

2020-02-19 12:51:34 UTC

More philosophical than substantive.

2020-02-19 12:52:06 UTC

philosophy isn't substantive?

2020-02-19 12:52:39 UTC

what is this

2020-02-19 12:52:40 UTC

Spencer has a pretty refined worldview
A sort of supranationalism

2020-02-19 12:53:06 UTC

He disagrees with conservatism on economics etc.

2020-02-19 12:53:22 UTC

i don't understand how college aged women could get this wrong

2020-02-19 12:53:53 UTC

Substantive in the case I am making, is being translatable into action.

2020-02-19 12:54:05 UTC

Or political action in this case.

2020-02-19 12:54:42 UTC

Well he tried and failed because action for action's sake is dangerous

2020-02-19 12:54:55 UTC

Very true

2020-02-19 12:55:33 UTC

Groyperism in a way was similiar to Spencer's approach

2020-02-19 12:55:38 UTC

Putting yourself out there

2020-02-19 12:55:38 UTC

Not to mention the overwhelming crackdown from the established powers was quite jarring for the entire dissident right after Cville.

2020-02-19 12:56:10 UTC

Of course the safer questioning of TPUSA types got eventually cut off since our opposition isn't retarded

It's actually interesting how many marches were held before Charlottesville

2020-02-19 12:57:03 UTC

Still they never accomplished much

2020-02-19 12:57:13 UTC

But people seem to have forgotten

2020-02-19 12:57:20 UTC

None of them were really covered.

2020-02-19 12:57:48 UTC

Afaik they led to Spencer's "leader of the movement" forced profile by msm

2020-02-19 12:57:59 UTC

So it worked out for him

2020-02-19 12:58:16 UTC

But he wasted it on weird interviews which would cut him out of context

2020-02-19 12:58:26 UTC

Not all press is good press

2020-02-19 12:58:47 UTC

Yeah, with the black comedian?

2020-02-19 12:59:14 UTC

Spencer did a bunch of interviews

2020-02-19 12:59:20 UTC

Because of his ego

2020-02-19 12:59:32 UTC

Yeah.

2020-02-19 13:01:15 UTC

I feel like a major failing was not recognizing that rightwingers are actual political dissidents. And suffer all the trappings that dissidents go through in any banana republic. Minus outright hard power that is.
