Idk what to think of the Ukraine situation because the Holodomor changed the demographics of Ukraine quite a bit
@Marcher_Cavalier It's a hoge poge buisness plan.
I dont think that Russia has a right to take over Russian majority areas in Baltics, Russians were only there for a short time really. However Ukraine is a completely different situation. In Eastern Ukraine, Russians have had an ethnic presence in that region about as long as Ukrainians have had.
Ukrainians used to have majoritie even outside their current borders
Ukraine and Russia ought to be part of the same state
I don't think that'll happen in a while.
Overall, Ukraine is quite cucked.
It doesn't look like Russian offensives are going to lead to the fall of Kiev
There is no point in saving a sinking ship.
I see Ukrainian and Russians opinions of eachother pre 2014 and its just sad, they used to love eachother.
When the hole's have mouted to a point of no return.
@Canadian Man Yes, because it's a semi-ad hoc arrangement that grew out of a defensive alliance, so it's a potential power bloc that is in play for a lot of the major global players.
They are still European though.
Ukraine and Russia are negotiating anyway
EU leaders independently of what the people on the other side of the pond think want this shit to end
Because they don't like the sanctions
They want Russian gas and oil
Is he trying to get killed?
Orban likes Israel though
He’s naming the corona
@EYEFORKNOWLEDGE156 Nope. Does corona "speculate with money?"
Yes
Does it "not have a homeland but feels like it owns the whole world?"
It does feel like it owns the world
It once lived in China and now feels like taking over the world
Obviously corona
I like how talks of "hidden enemies" always evoke the same idea to some. How it's so normalized is kind of funny.
@Marcher_Cavalier I can concur, people within our circle's state that this group are so called "Based". But Visgrad group is quite liberial within there ecnomy. Instead of moving farther East to secure (at least for a while) the Social securtiy of there nation. Visgrad instead has moved farther away and supported the West who on average are more submirssive than the East.
Were you have a "Liberial" ecnomy you allow the Social foundations of your nations to be degaded over time.
Tbf they came out of being dominated by the east for quite a while
From my point of view, Eastern Europe Still has deep wounds from the Communists, And have unfairinly have placed most of the blame of Communism on the Russian people.
Eastern Europe is in a bad spot being wedged between western liberalism and the memory of the Soviet Union
^
Actually, I think that is reality. Obviously some hate more than others, some hate very little, but I think that is correct on average.
Best thing for them would be for countries like Germany and France to snap out of it and take the whole block in a different direction
And all of them still have the horrors of communism in their back closets.
In reality, The situation is more complex as the East is trying to tear down the Historic foundations of the Central european people. The east on Average is submirssive but not to the extent the West is.
I just hope that there will be a geopolitical schism within Nato between the Europeans and Americans which takes European part off of the course of liberalism
Without American influence we would already be more favourably disposed to illiberal states like Russia
