I hear that the interview is going horridly

2019-02-08 23:28:23 UTC

I'm not going to bother with Brave though. Vivaldi just has every option under the sun already

2019-02-08 23:28:24 UTC

there are a lot of VPNs floating around, anyone have a recent list ranking them?

2019-02-08 23:28:25 UTC

I wish more sites would pick it up

2019-02-08 23:28:26 UTC

I'm listening to it

2019-02-08 23:28:29 UTC

2019-02-08 23:28:59 UTC

Does Vilvadi have BAT?

2019-02-08 23:29:01 UTC

VPNs are unfortunately just about all compromised.

2019-02-08 23:29:03 UTC

interview is going nicely, we all know most of this, but Tim's holding his own well and explaining shit that ruins a lot of leftie narratives

2019-02-08 23:29:08 UTC

I watched the video were Tim mentioned the clik-thing. So, already know about it.

2019-02-08 23:29:08 UTC

SAD. no privacy. not even TOR

2019-02-08 23:29:19 UTC

PIA, Nord, Ghost, mullvad, roll your own

2019-02-08 23:29:20 UTC

2019-02-08 23:29:22 UTC

TOR has been compromised for a while

2019-02-08 23:29:24 UTC
2019-02-08 23:29:28 UTC

cite what

2019-02-08 23:29:34 UTC

TOR was made by the Navy

2019-02-08 23:29:39 UTC

and?

2019-02-08 23:29:46 UTC

is that a good thing to you? lmao

2019-02-08 23:30:19 UTC

@Unwound If I'm talking to you, I'm gonna talk to you. "All VPNs are comprimised" is a big fucking claim.

2019-02-08 23:30:29 UTC

also somewhat related: great read

I think governments have gotten better at tracking TOR, but you have to be damn high profile and give them a lot of traffic numbers for them to manage to match input-output numbers. It's almost impossible.

2019-02-08 23:32:49 UTC

afaik they essentially have to already have full surveillance of the traffic you're sending to the TOR network, and then try to match the communication times and sizes to what end-nodes are accessing at different times

2019-02-08 23:33:00 UTC

How are all my alt-right Nazis doing this afternoon

2019-02-08 23:33:07 UTC

@Unwound brief summary pls?

2019-02-08 23:33:07 UTC

What you choose as a VPN is dependant on your threat model

2019-02-08 23:33:30 UTC

or paranoia level lol

2019-02-08 23:33:40 UTC

that's what a threat model is....

2019-02-08 23:33:49 UTC

The paranoia level determines your threat model

2019-02-08 23:33:57 UTC

TOR was made public because it only worked for the navy if they could camoflage their traffic in an ocean of traffic

2019-02-08 23:34:09 UTC

as does what you are doing with it also determine your threat model

2019-02-08 23:34:20 UTC

what? I was being facetious. i thought 'emotion' wouldn't be considered in something serious like that....
