I have a friend who regrets focusing on career and fun early in life, she's just happy that she met my friend when she did and was able to have at least one kid

i think the problem is with women and neurotic behavior being more prevalent with women.

I think there's something to be said for that though

My theory is that it's mostly an issue of temperament. There are always x% of the population who are kind of awful authoritarian moralists, and they will take whatever are the dominant cultural memes and norms and twist them into a quasi-religious orthodoxy. This is why modern feminists seem like old church ladies--they're the same types of people, they've just grown up in different moral universes.

Learned about this before i knew about peterson, because my mother spend a year in rehab over this.
