We all do want to feel special or unique in some way.
Im talking a "head" of sorts pushing other people into it mostly teens or people with existing mental illnesses. Going so far into conducting rituals to "help them bond" with their supposed characters.

started harassing people for being "doubles" etc
most of them have grown up and calmed down by now tho

Its one of the more notorious ones, mainly cause its scale was... lets say larger than just one or two

as a kid i was interested in vampires, which lead me to otherkin which lead me to kinnies
and then gamergate happened and i got into politics

TO be honest I knew of otherkin but I thought they were just.. you know.. rp
The only issue is that since you're already bald you won't know when to stop training
Like i had friends who did forum RP. I thought otherkin just... roleplayed things
it started off as roleplay, or just a way of saying "i sympathise a lot with these characters"
but then it turned into... "i literally am this character, fuck you if you don't acknowledge it"
I do tons of roleplay, I play tons of D&D, but I can differentiate from myself and my self-insert characters
and from there, they started attacking doubles
