I think the main problem with the "trans debate" is that the rampant politicization of the issue means that better solutions will have a hard time getting through
A friend of mine actually visited a discord server to do with that fictional character thing
And I suspect there is a better solution, with a higher success rate, that isn't tied to medical complications
