it doesnt matter how censorious they get, people are already leaving them over it anyway
yes its the market speaking
But what is a problem is that said competition is getting cut off at the floor
sure and we need to stop government
ISP's cant do this btw
they cant arbitrarily cut your line because you have unpopular views
But at the datacenter, a software dev like microsoft for example, can just say "we dont want you using your software"
I mean its not the best example because there are alternatives
thats fine as long as they dont use government to do that
*aslong
its not what about benefits people its about being consistent and protecting rights as a whole and a individual level
except they receive plenty of money from governments & state to get them to locate there
well they shouldnt
I already said this
Yes
im not justifying what the government does
one more thing, these social media platforms fall under particular law
but yet choose to operate as publishers
the law doesnt speak for me
same with other tech companies
Well ironically the way to solve this problem
is by removing the law that protects these places from being sued over banning people
or things being posted there that are unpopular
anything really
they should be able to do that anyway
who should be able to do what
ban people even for no reason unless the contract states other wise
So do you think electricity providors should be able to cut you off the grid over anything you say or do
yes
its their property
So would it be fair to say that you are leaning towards a utopian libertarian free market worldview?
I guess
im a Laissez-faire capitalist
I mean ive grown more libertarian the more authoritarian the EU n shit is getting
Well im fine with most of that
Im just seeing a problem in that what we got isnt capitalist at all
thats the result of collectivism
Most of that is indeed result of government interference, if not all
well im talking about philisophy
Yea i know, im talking about practical reality of today.
We dont need regulations on social media, styx is what i think needs to be done, an internet bill of rights
