Draw a circle
Surround it with candles
Put a Beanie in the center
And then chant "Timcast" over and over

that is what we call poetic irony
and a reason why safe gun storage and transport needs to be better stressed by the pro-gun community and those who do not practice it must be ostracized. Either your gun is safely on you, or stored so it cannot be used against you. If you want it for defense, then it should need to be forcefully taken from your person in order for it to be used against you, it should never fall into someone else's hands without a fight.
@Grenade123 I am pro-gun and completely agree with you on this point.
I am guessing that she had the gun in her purse and had placed her purse in the back seator on the floor of the back seat.
your gun should be in a hustler, or in a lock box. "But it doesn't look pretty" doesn't cut it. Sorry ladies but function over fashion, wear better cloths so it either looks good or you don't see it
I don't even have an issue with her keeping it in her purse, PROVIDED THAT SHE IS IN POSSESSION OF HER PURSE AT ALL TIMES
Yeah if you own a gun only you should have access to it.
Just common sense.
There are any number of holsters made for women that will help conceal a firearm (provided that it is not the size of a Dirty Harry 44 Magnum
purses are rarely in a place i'd consider "their possession" when ladies get to a destination. Both from a safety and a defense position, it is usually only in a good spot when walking from x to y. Unless a holster where it is always in a good spot, regardless of walking, sitting, or driving. On the ground near your seat (where you need to stretch down to get) or on a hook under a bar, i wouldn't call those good places.
Well, I don't want to be accused of "mansplaining" to women where the proper place to store their purse is. 😉
you're not even human
Flies know how to fly without being taught.
Spiders know how to spin webs without being taught.
women who leave their purses unattended are woman who usually just don't care. I myself have that thing on me at all time, even when I'm in the car, on the bus, anything. If I know I'm going to have to put it somewhere, like at work, I make sure it's locked up. Then again, I would never carry something like a gun in my purse. Any woman that just doesn't care where they leave their purse just doesn't care about anything in it.
Why is that then?
Here's what I think; flies and spiders are simply following an order. I believe all life on earth have their own directive of some kind.
Don't humans have any directive?
@O_Castitatis_Lilium I didn't mean to imply they leave it just anywhere, I was saying that even at your feet, under your desk, or even so far as be in the passenger seat is not a good place for it if you are also using it for keeping a gun. The only good place for it aside from a lock box of some kind is on your shoulder. Something I don't think most women do while sitting at a desk all day, nor can do while driving. With a gun in a holster, it is always on you at all times regardless of activity and should the gun be required to be removed, say in a store that asks you leave it in the car or in a lock box at the store entrance, it should be locked up.
@Chijohnaok not exactly mansplaining the proper place for a purse. I'm stating as both a concerned citizen and, hopefully some time in the near future, legal gun holder, where a safe place to store your gun is.
