I would think for the indians, it's because many of them are not here 100% citizenry

Asians assimilate really well as do Nigerians

Asians respect the culture work hard and have functioning families.

As it stands from the hunting/2gun/3gun/target shooting/elr communities; I'm cool with american gun culture in those respects

Until the black start taking responsibility for their own communities again the problem is not going to go away.

Going after straw purchases is a big one, but of course if police start doing that we’re gunna hear cries of racism

The real question is will the police respond with “tough shit” or will they cave to the complaints

But if they start enforcing the laws we have how are they going to put new ones in place.

1) Make it so that the depressed or suicidal can seek council without repercussion in regards to firearm rights
2) Push societal changes to be both more open to seeking help for such things while also encouraging people to take more responsibility
3) [a second piece of #1] If a person is determined to be of significant risk and needs to have their weapons confiscated at least temporarily, make it easy and straightforward to get their property back

Honestly most people with severe mental illness should need a qualified doctor’s approval for firearm ownership. The problem is if you start a program like that are you just going to deter people from getting treatment
