yes.
And without a local militia to actually defend them
They’ve seen real weapons of war in action, not just hunting rifles
Eh, most of the ex US military is totally fine with guns
I think it's the fervent abuse of power combined with having firearms arbitrarily pointed at them that's probably at the core
The veterans use the guns from a positon of strength and not of being a victim.
and seeing their families chopped to bits and raped
yeah
I think I would almost put that out as a reason how they are not integrating
As it stands from the hunting/2gun/3gun/target shooting/elr communities; I'm cool with american gun culture in those respects
I am not cool with random gang bangers holding their straw purchased "problem solvers" towards innocent people or other stupid gangbangers
I would just like to cut out a quarter of the firearms deaths in the country
I don't think that's far fetched and with the right legislation it could be reality
it doesn't even take significant amounts of cash
Until the black start taking responsibility for their own communities again the problem is not going to go away.
Going after straw purchases is a big one, but of course if police start doing that we’re gunna hear cries of racism
The real question is will the police respond with “tough shit” or will they cave to the complaints
But if they start enforcing the laws we have how are they going to put new ones in place.
1) Make it so that the depressed or suicidal can seek council without repercussion in regards to firearm rights
2) Push societal changes to be both more open to seeking help for such things while also encouraging people to take more responsibility
3) [a second piece of #1] If a person is determined to be of significant risk and needs to have their weapons confiscated at least temporarily, make it easy and straightforward to get their property back
Nah dude; targeting the black/latino gang community is not what I had in mind
Pretty much anything I could conceive of that would work would be inherently racist
and that's not really where I want to go with shit
curb your supremecy
The gang problem will continue until the communities start to work with the police to fight them.
Honestly most people with severe mental illness should need a qualified doctor’s approval for firearm ownership. The problem is if you start a program like that are you just going to deter people from getting treatment
ashkenazi jews are more intelligent than whites on average
tbh just always more inteligent
you don't even need the average part
See, that's what I'm saying, you need to get rid of the deterrents for people seeking treatment
a bit of a paradox though
what if giving someone guns boosts their serotonin
and gets them out of a depression spiral
with firearms getting more stigmatized across the US; it's less and less likely folks will seek treatment (Because they find some solace in that right; even though they're pretty much holding on to their grave)
yes; it does
a lot of PTSD folks from the mil are like that
I think guns need to be more normalized across the board
i grew up in a libtard household and never actually went to a range or anything but i don't feel they are dangerous nor make me feel powerful to hold one
Your family members do though.
mhmm
I would say you're a femboyfox outlier
