Racism is racism.

2018-05-03 21:12:08 UTC

In either direction.

2018-05-03 21:12:33 UTC

People of color, is to Colored people,

How "Jerome, please Paint", is to "Black paint" ๐Ÿ˜‚

2018-05-03 21:13:04 UTC

Its there to lump people together because of their race. There is no more context needed to make it racist.

2018-05-03 21:14:38 UTC

And black panther is a mid to upper tier marvel movie with bad special effects. Nothing more, nothing less.

2018-05-03 21:14:39 UTC

just lumping people together because of race is not racist on its own... biologists do it.. doctors do it... but to imply some sort of superiority makes it racist

2018-05-03 21:15:49 UTC

I haven't watched it but I watched an analysis of it breaking down how drunk the story is.

2018-05-03 21:16:17 UTC

I can ignore bad effects. Story with plot holes the size of the moon, ehhhhh.

2018-05-03 21:17:01 UTC

Doctors do not lump people together because of their race. They group them in โ€žrisk-groupsโ€œ that just so happen to be devided by race.

2018-05-03 21:17:37 UTC

White people are more likely to develop osteoporosis, etc etc.

2018-05-03 21:17:47 UTC

Though I've been listening to a lot of voices on the whole "racism" debate.

2018-05-03 21:18:03 UTC

Including a black dude who says racism is "okay" as long as you aren't being a piece of shit with it.

2018-05-03 21:24:08 UTC

Racism is ok, as long as you live in a meritocracy

2018-05-03 21:24:15 UTC

Depends on definitions i guess... i donโ€˜t believe that you can really choose if you are racist or not (just like you do not conciously decide if you like cats or dogs) but you can decide how you deal with it if you are.

2018-05-03 21:24:21 UTC

Racism becomes a non-factor

2018-05-03 21:24:44 UTC

To a degree.

2018-05-03 21:25:10 UTC

In terms of.

2018-05-03 21:25:11 UTC

Change my mind =p

2018-05-03 21:25:27 UTC

Basically, at the end of the day. Everyone is at least a little bit racist. And that's honestly okay.

2018-05-03 21:25:37 UTC

That's the message I got from the black guy I watched talking about this stuff.

2018-05-03 21:25:51 UTC

Without it, you'd end up just being blind / stupid.

2018-05-03 21:25:57 UTC

I would love to do a change my mind with crowder on gun control... his arguments are so bad ๐Ÿ˜

2018-05-03 21:26:00 UTC

It's the same argument you can apply to everything.

2018-05-03 21:26:10 UTC

racism has just gotten a lot of bad rep imo,

All them asian wamen who prefer rich white dudes, thats racism too, buy who's gonna call it bad, amirite? ๐Ÿ˜Ž

2018-05-03 21:26:19 UTC

I prefer to say racism doesn't exist, than debate the definition where in the end it means "people are different". Which we already know

2018-05-03 21:26:29 UTC

I see.

2018-05-03 21:26:44 UTC

I dunno. Crowder's a good guy / is entertaining. The quality of his reporting is.. mixed.

2018-05-03 21:27:09 UTC

I still remember that one debate he had with the pro-socialist college kid a while back. That went so well I couldn't bring myself to watch the rest of the video.

2018-05-03 21:27:09 UTC

I did not say that he is not entertaining ๐Ÿ˜

2018-05-03 21:27:19 UTC

I prefer Crowder's reporting to Tim's tbh

2018-05-03 21:27:35 UTC

He is biased, but you know where he stands

2018-05-03 21:27:48 UTC

He's biased but it's okay. He's *trying* to be honest at the very least.

2018-05-03 21:27:52 UTC

Same for Tim?

2018-05-03 21:28:09 UTC

Everyone's biased, Tim's less so than crowder.

2018-05-03 21:28:11 UTC

By a fair margin.

2018-05-03 21:28:15 UTC

Crowder is good if you want pro-right wing, Tim pool just tells the story in context and lets you decide

2018-05-03 21:28:25 UTC

Really though.

2018-05-03 21:28:38 UTC

I prefer Tim's stuff just because he tends to get more details than everyone else.

2018-05-03 21:28:41 UTC

Tim _tries_ to be neutral in a wrong way (if that makes sense to you)

2018-05-03 21:28:43 UTC

Whether intentionally or unintentionally.

2018-05-03 21:29:03 UTC

There's always little details and tidbits that end up getting lost with other people that tim reminds us of. Which is always nice to have.
