thanks
I should mention now what being a nationalist is, beyond the common misuse of the term. Nation is derived from the word natal. A nation is the blood. A nationalist cares about the condition of his immediate and extended blood family.
And the nation differs from the state as nations are the cultural/ethnic/civil affiliation with a certain group
Not fully... I will stand besides my countryman if he's black and shares the same interests for my homeland, damn straight.
A nation is the blood. Ethnicities will arrise out of political, geographical, cultural differences
While the state is a geographical area where a set of institutions create conditions for the monopoly of violence by a particular group
And just because your the same race as me doesn't mean I wouldn't want you dead
@steel inquisitor , I did mention "civil"\
I am aware of civic nationalism
The type of nationalism based more on something like America than, say, China
Civic nationalism is contradictory within the name itself. Racial strangers cannot be a nation because they agree on a concept.
Communism is still civic but not when you have big mean China fucking with it it's not... **as far as I can tell
Lol
China is mostly han chinese
The communism part is practically irrelevant.
Its just slightly symbolic
Btw, in HK pro beijing actually has the connotations of pro business and pro excessive capitalism.
I know that because I live there
It is relevant... they have their own folk slaving away in iPhone factories and clothes manufacturing facilities etc. And what about the Chinese social merit systems introduced?
That's not really even communism
Thats a type of social totalitarianism
And the social merit system is redicolus
It can basically mean you getting better prices on water supplies if you support the reigme.
That's just intolerable
Can we center this back on the video
sure
@steel inquisitor , dm is welcome anytime.
Well
That's just an expression
But you should get the jist
Okay, will keep that in mind @Revolutionaryarmchair ...it's 1 am here though and I'm up early so gotta go.
@steel inquisitor the sweatshops are capitalist institutions of profit
China is by no means a communist nation
They are an authoritarian oligarchy
I agree @Forte58
And I have some remanence of personal experience to back it up
@steel inquisitor , thanks for the messages
See yah later
@Ano , as you were saying?
