How so?
It's not like felons make up a significant percentage of population to vote
Tech is just autistic and a little slow give him a second to catch up
even when you leave it at the state level.
i personally think that if you commit a felony you should be stripped of some rights like voting
Let's look at Louisiana, the state that has one of the highest prison population
which is 36k people
Through the "Argument" I've mentioned number of times that the vote would go to the state that the prison is in
Louisiana's population is 4.66 million
If you do the math, the felon population make up 0.007% of Louisiana's population.
Like you're not going to change anything.
But Democrats will always use it to claim Republicans are literally saddam hussein
putting a lot of people in jail to prevent them from voting
lmao
what is this nazi germany?
exactly
So it's not like their vote will actually be big
it's not like they make up 50% of the state's population
and then they can just vote to free themselves out or remove death penalty
Yet democrats are delusional enough to believe that
and propagate it on cnn as fake news
If Republicans owned up to it and just allowed felons to vote, Democrats would have one less platform to stand on.
Louisiana would still be a Republican state not a Democrat state
In fact here's a map of unrestricted voting rights for all prisoners.
all the darkest blue are where felons can freely vote
now lets look at the election of 2016
it's 50-50
literally no significant change
The thing is there are state were it isn't a land slide moron
Their are tight states
And then when you factor in the prison population out of the state's population
They don't even make up 2% of the population
If you say felons don't deserve vote then they don't even make up 0.01% of the state's population
your also forgetting that the entire state isn't registered to vote
What's your point?
That if we allow felons to vote
suddenly more people will want to vote more?
