they talk about confimation bias, they ignore science that disagrees with their faith based belief that races have the same average IQ

or, even if it is true, they dont care

in other words: science agrees with me, yuy
science disagrees with me, dont care

i dont get why people put so much importance in stats on IQ when it comes to race

like pointing out asians are more intelligent than white people... like.. so what.. Ive seen some dumb AF asians and smart AF asians... pretty much meaningless data

if you dont think IQ is important, the whole of psychology is not important. its what its all based on

psych started out as a way to identify smart poor kids to get them grants so they can do smart things

it tells you nothing about an individual

individuals all have that devine spark, even the dumbest ones

does not change the fact that there are average IQ differences between races

I dont think they are important... because it could just happen to be this way... like if they tested the average IQ based on hair colour.. maybe red heads would turn out to have higher IQ .. but 30 yrs later it might just happen to be blondes at that time

they might, but it would be in function of their race, because black people tend to only have black or brown hair

then they average out to the white people bell curve

the multi variate analysis have been done folks

the defining characteristic is race

you cant have meaningfull data unless you tested several generations

like i said, if you dont trust IQ nothing in psych makes sense, from its inception to now

IQ tells me how educated someone is, not necessarily how smart they are.

but even then .. it tells you nothing about anyone

it tells you performance on tasks

although the term "smart" is relative

specifically tasks that have change all the time

Isn't IQ considered to be an outdated measurement with flaws though?

higher IQ people are more successfull, which is outweighed by every other personality trait

IQ is the most solid pysch mesurement we have

ok.. say you tested all white people and it turned out people who wore blue hats for the test had higher IQ on average.. what does that tell you?

example IQ question:

"Find two words, one from each group, that are the closest in meaning:
Group A

talkative, job, ecstatic

Group B

angry, wind, loquacious

a. talkative and wind

b. job and angry

c. talkative and loquacious

d. ecstatic and angry"

you need to know the definition of these words

it gets tested with every psych test every time

learning word definitions correlates with IQ

an uneducated person is not going to know the term "loquacious"

they wont
