ironic since unemployment is the lowest its been since the 70s or something

2019-07-24 13:41:54 UTC

theyre not beneath me, but theyre not in the same pile as me

2019-07-24 13:42:05 UTC

we're clearly in different ideological piles

2019-07-24 13:42:20 UTC

unemployment is always at its lowest just before a recession mate

2019-07-24 13:42:24 UTC

check history

2019-07-24 13:42:36 UTC

lol

2019-07-24 13:42:39 UTC

solid argument

2019-07-24 13:42:48 UTC

same with the stock market, its always at its peak just before a recession

2019-07-24 13:43:03 UTC

So is the green in your name indicitive of your politics as well as the syndicalism part, or is it just that you like that colour?

2019-07-24 13:43:14 UTC

its indicative of my ideology

2019-07-24 13:43:17 UTC

i want corporatism

2019-07-24 13:43:32 UTC

with an environmental council approving or rejecting legislation

2019-07-24 13:43:37 UTC

he assumes im a right winger and someone he resents when in fact i have a masters in the environmental science field and work in oceanography

2019-07-24 13:43:49 UTC

and if you check another thread here im actually arguing for universal healthcare

2019-07-24 13:43:51 UTC

why are you so dumb then?

2019-07-24 13:43:54 UTC

you have a problem

2019-07-24 13:43:57 UTC

wise up bud

2019-07-24 13:44:00 UTC

you can barely read english

2019-07-24 13:44:13 UTC

!mute @Green Syndicalism i asked you to play nice 60m

2019-07-24 13:44:14 UTC

2019-07-24 13:46:27 UTC

I see conservative values as a necessary half of the bedrock of human civilization
The current incarnation of the right wing, in the USA and around the world is a reaction to the left wing going off the deep end.
I see the green parties as a trojan horse for socialism. As social engineering and pc crap is failing hard, the socialists need some way to impose their power. Why not do it with the threat of global catastrophe.

2019-07-24 13:46:27 UTC

GG @witherfinger, you just advanced to level 2!

2019-07-24 13:48:29 UTC

eh climate change is real

2019-07-24 13:48:40 UTC

the magnitude of it and impact is debatable

2019-07-24 13:48:49 UTC

but in my opinion developing renewable infrastructure is a win win

2019-07-24 13:49:04 UTC

you get a domestic source of energy / reduce reliance on oil imports

2019-07-24 13:49:11 UTC

side effect of reducing emissions

2019-07-24 13:49:39 UTC

Im not saying it isnt real. The idea that government will solve it is the lie.

2019-07-24 13:50:36 UTC

and i think the only reason the repubs arent on board is cause of the oil lobby to be honest

2019-07-24 13:50:40 UTC

trump isnt that stupid

2019-07-24 13:50:43 UTC

not stupid at all

2019-07-24 13:50:46 UTC

but hes playing the game

2019-07-24 13:50:51 UTC

Governments will just take over energy and transportation. Create massive eco beurocracies that will never go away and we will just be poorer people on the cusp of a disaster

2019-07-24 13:51:07 UTC

you can incentivize renewable development without nationalizing the industry

2019-07-24 13:51:11 UTC

just provide tax incentives

2019-07-24 13:51:35 UTC

the oil industry as is receives massive subsidies

2019-07-24 13:51:48 UTC

People will buy green technology if they can afford it. Id buy an elecrric car tomorrow if i could. Takes time for things to get cheaper

2019-07-24 13:51:56 UTC

for sure

2019-07-24 13:52:00 UTC

I agree that they shouldnt

2019-07-24 13:52:02 UTC

Oil that is

2019-07-24 13:52:17 UTC

but the market is being purposefully blocked in its present state by incentivizing oil rather than domestic renewables
