well in this case, not watch the media (for a year), talk to family (for a year), talk to colleagues (for a year). Since we are here, because some fuckwad (the person who should really be sent to jail) split this up across a year. What are the options?

2018-05-25 16:17:02 UTC

also, this is in the UK

2018-05-25 16:17:06 UTC

not supressing the media is not an option

2018-05-25 16:17:08 UTC

again I know this

2018-05-25 16:17:16 UTC

I'm talking about what would happen here and why I think it's wrong

2018-05-25 16:17:21 UTC

i agree, this shit really wouldn't fly here

2018-05-25 16:17:34 UTC

and also, that happens all the time in jury trials, jury sequesters

2018-05-25 16:18:00 UTC

265 days for the OJ trial.

2018-05-25 16:18:09 UTC

so there's your answer of what happens here

2018-05-25 16:18:13 UTC

which one, his first or second?

2018-05-25 16:18:20 UTC

first

2018-05-25 16:18:30 UTC

the murder trial

2018-05-25 16:19:20 UTC

I shouldn't say 265 days is the norm, but it has happened, and that's how it was dealt with, rightly or wrongly

2018-05-25 16:19:25 UTC

What happens if someone on a jury breaks that? they kicked off the jury

2018-05-25 16:19:32 UTC

?

2018-05-25 16:19:32 UTC

yup

2018-05-25 16:19:38 UTC

can be

2018-05-25 16:19:42 UTC

or a mistrial

2018-05-25 16:20:22 UTC

there was probably some legalities too if I had to imagine.. poor jurors

2018-05-25 16:21:00 UTC

anyway, here, it would be jury sequester, not infringing on press rights...

2018-05-25 16:21:04 UTC

they dont really sequester much anymore - its incredibly expensive.. they have to pay each juror not to mention all the people hired...

2018-05-25 16:21:06 UTC

regardless of why the gag order was placed, it was placed (and gag orders happen here too)

2018-05-25 16:21:28 UTC

there were rooms at the courthouse for that.. but appaarently its very rare

2018-05-25 16:21:35 UTC

yeah it's rare

2018-05-25 16:21:40 UTC

my case only lasted 3 days

2018-05-25 16:22:01 UTC

each day it was like .. one hour then the judge is like, ok lets have a break everyone

2018-05-25 16:22:03 UTC

usualy only high profile trials obviously

2018-05-25 16:23:42 UTC

well, point being, its there. and if it covered the whole trail, not just parts, then technically they were not wrong to arrest him. not on legal grounds. And if he knew that, and since he knew this session was over, just waiting on the verdict, then they are also correct to say he was disturbing the peace.

2018-05-25 16:23:46 UTC

again, "breachign the peace" is trumped up charge

2018-05-25 16:24:05 UTC

meh we can disagree here

2018-05-25 16:24:45 UTC

but he did say in his stream "harass this man, harass his family, etc"

2018-05-25 16:26:09 UTC

is it? like i said, if he knew it was breaking the law and then tried to frame it as he had no idea and they were arresting him for nothing, also said that, then those are all intentionally provocative statements.

2018-05-25 16:27:01 UTC

yup and setenced for 13 months in prison

2018-05-25 16:27:09 UTC

in which he will probably not survive.

2018-05-25 16:27:48 UTC

well, technically its because he did it again despite being told not to

2018-05-25 16:28:09 UTC

now if you want to talk about the original sentencing, that might be BS, i can't tell you

2018-05-25 16:28:45 UTC

also, have the actually sentenced him on that? or was that the threat and now they need to affirm the actual length of the sentence

2018-05-25 16:28:50 UTC
2018-05-25 16:29:35 UTC

you started that one to quick

2018-05-25 16:29:55 UTC

for context
