you guys are just insecure about your sexuality
stfu shemale
shutup pig
oof
Pretty sure all rich people are guilty of nepotism lol
Though, with Trump and his family in office, it seems a bit like ignoring the elephant in the room to go after small fish like Hunter
i've seen the double standard applied far more in the opposite way. i also don't see how he's a small fish comparatively.
Well, one is the president of the United States with years of extreme corruption and conflicts of interests.
Lol the "double standard" though? Yeah...
Republicans are all about padding their pockets (and their family's pockets) first and foremost - have been for a long time.
Obviously there's a double standard, yes. Regardless of whether trump has had corruption, i agree he probably has, but to make the argument that only trump matters here and not biden at all despite it's likelyhood is literally a double standard
If you're wanting to call out corruption in the government you can't just deflect evidence against one side of the political isle.
Well wait, I'm not saying it shouldn't be called out
But I said it's ignoring the elephant in the room - deflecting attention from the far more obvious example of the same exact thing
When Trump's obvious nepotism and various cases with conflict of interest are just...brushed off on a daily basis
And then all of the sudden they bring this up - and when the obvious question is asked "what about Trump, then?" (remember they have been deflecting and denying these things) - suddenly WE are the hypocrites
Dirty right wing pigs want to have their cake and eat it too
And when you're not looking, they'll eat your fucking cake too
Lol I just remembered that our dots on the political (autism?) spectrum were in exactly the same spot
What I'm saying is more like those who supported Biden just tend to completely deny any possible wrongdoing on his part at all, for trump i usually do at least see acknowledgement of possible shadiness. Both sides are totally applicable here though, so granted there
right? thats wild.
As far as I know, the Bidens didn't do anything illegal
It seems like Hunter got the job because of his dad - he admitted as much
Said it was because of his last name
That's just a rich person giving their kid a cushy job - which isn't good, but it's a bit different from what Trump's family has been doing
He also admitted that it wasn't good judgement
Do remember though that Ukraine has reopened their investigation into hunter biden, so this could possibly lead to some other shit. Although to be honest I don't even care all that much.
All this shows to me is that both sides will cover each others asses, and that both sides have corruption at least to some degree.
Fuck i'm starting to become a political nihilist.
Not sure if that's a term but it is now.
Well, I do want it to be fully investigated (although apparently, at least some of it already has been?)
I don't think it's been fully investigated, but yeah I agree
I wonder if anything will come from this impeachment thing
There may have been something that was started before but then got shot down or something.
I honestly doubt it.
Still don't know if it was a good or bad idea really, at least at this time
I don't see how it's a better strategy than simply using whatever the president said agaisnt him in the election and to simply vote him out.
I mean, I believe there are plenty of technically impeachable "offenses" - but that doesn't mean it's the best political move right now
Honestly, this late in his term, it's mostly a statement or something
They can focus on doing better things tbh
