Sure, Tommy probably broke whatever shit law resulted in his suspended sentence being reinstanted (and them some), but that doesn't make TR wrong, it makes the law wrong, and the UK govt should be ashamed of themselves

btw that guy in the stream the other day said we dont have jury selection in the UK - we do have jusry selection - the lawyers cant choose individual members but they can call for a new jury before the trial starts if they want

what would happen is, they pick 18 people from the "main room" where we are all put between cases... then when we get to the court room, they pick 12 of us, and the 6 go back to the main room

except lawyers can choose to NOT have someone based on some attribute or if the juror is found to not be impartial due to some reason they can be removed

then backups come in, so that there are always 12 total

but they can't PICK who they want, and they can't keep cycling until they like everyone on the jury, but they have some leeway, on the prosecution and defence

I think the blackout was that there were so many defendants that they couldn't try them all at once and didn't want the outcome of the first trial affecting the second one
