As for the trans rights movement, if we look at the history trans have been excluded from the military due to gender dysphoria, which added with the stress of military can result in a high suicide rate.

and honestly I completely understand excluding people from the military for mental issues

they'll bar you just for having depression

the reality of it is in the military you have to make snap decisions and you have to be of clear mind, and if you aren't able to do both you're likely to just die in any form of combat.
