can't have a civilization without borders really, because how would you define where it starts and ends?

2018-06-12 16:12:20 UTC

you'd also need to define a scale

2018-06-12 16:12:29 UTC

inb4 gypsies, thats a stretch of the definition of nation

2018-06-12 16:12:30 UTC

I suppose the native americans could be seen as 100% lib

2018-06-12 16:12:43 UTC

native americans had territorys

2018-06-12 16:12:47 UTC

but, they had their own tribes, a form of government

2018-06-12 16:12:55 UTC

how big or small can something be

2018-06-12 16:13:11 UTC

you could have a household or town that is 100% lib, does it count?

2018-06-12 16:13:31 UTC

the idea that native americans didint beleive in the ownership of land is a myth in many cases and in others its because they had just recently gone through a territorial war

2018-06-12 16:14:15 UTC

how could they not believe in ownership of land and want their land back?

2018-06-12 16:14:22 UTC

what the native americas had more issue with was changing the land from what it was into something that it wasent and messing with the ecology they had grown dependent on

2018-06-12 16:14:40 UTC

like with the railroad or overhunting

2018-06-12 16:15:15 UTC

perhaps even building settlements seemed strange to them, but they KNEW who's land was the land of different tribes

2018-06-12 16:15:25 UTC

thats why you found markers made by them

2018-06-12 16:16:15 UTC

maybe in 30 years muslims will let you have your own bit of land with a casino

2018-06-12 16:16:23 UTC

even then some historical native americans did create settlements like the ancient missisipians

2018-06-12 16:17:07 UTC

and everyone south of tex were very much into that land ownership thing like aztecs, maya, and incas

2018-06-12 16:18:37 UTC

most ancoms that seem reasonible dont think anarchy can be established until we are post scarcity

2018-06-12 16:18:52 UTC

lol.. perfect "the office" material, that look from kim jong.. https://twitter.com/jonnyshire/status/1006455192315887617?s=20

2018-06-12 16:19:43 UTC

and ancaps are just insane and want to think they can balance property ownership with human nature and get a result where those who own the most dont eventually own everything and extert authority over everyone

2018-06-12 16:21:10 UTC

people who dont like government tend to forget whom government is ment to respresent and who will have the least representation when government is absent

2018-06-12 16:21:51 UTC

most problems of government is when they no longer represent those whom it is ment to represent

2018-06-12 16:22:04 UTC

or the people whom it represents go insane

2018-06-12 16:22:21 UTC

(looking at you sweden)

2018-06-12 16:29:02 UTC

and again... every few hours with this same sh*t.. https://twitter.com/newscientist/status/1006547334308749312?s=20

2018-06-12 16:29:23 UTC

i wonder if too many people are responding, pointing out their crap

2018-06-12 16:45:48 UTC

@Arch-Fiend the problem is ancaps is this believe that somehow a persons property is defined only by them. Then trying to come up with a complex set of rules around that. When in reality what is your property is only what you can get other people to agree to is your property. And this is how government, or at least one of a few core reasons, came about.

2018-06-12 17:02:09 UTC

you need borders, not only to define the state, but because we are neurologically set up to interact with them

2018-06-12 17:02:41 UTC

literal borders between a nation are just a manifestation of a mental trick all humans have

2018-06-12 17:02:54 UTC

generally to seperate that which they know, and that which they dont know

2018-06-12 17:03:18 UTC

and then you have several degrees of knowing

2018-06-12 17:04:34 UTC

or meta knowing.. like when you seperate what you know from what you dont know in say your house, you know your house, but not the outside of it (not as much)

2018-06-12 17:04:56 UTC

but inside the house there might be a room where you are not permitted, which is another border

2018-06-12 17:05:11 UTC

(like when you where a kid, not allowed in the study)

2018-06-12 17:07:36 UTC

so even if you where to abolish the concept of nations, by removing their boundery borders

2018-06-12 17:08:28 UTC

all the unknowns from outside what used to be the nations borders now suddenly become relevant to you, which increases anxiety at least, and possebly worse depending on the unknowns

2018-06-12 17:18:07 UTC

open borders people should probably keep in mind, that even if only a fraction of the people from europe had traveled to the new world, many of the native americans still would have died due to disease, to the point of near collapse of their civilizations. they would have to have had near Japan levels of immigration control to maintain they civilization

2018-06-12 18:37:39 UTC

todays video is called "how the left is going too far"

2018-06-12 18:37:44 UTC

basically

2018-06-12 18:38:02 UTC

im sick of far left white saviors pretending not to be racist but attacking minorities

2018-06-12 18:38:09 UTC

they use the banner of anti racism to command minorities around
