i dunno, make the friends around you happy, play games and enjoy life seems like a solid meaning to me

2018-06-25 22:20:30 UTC

also, as JBP points out, meaning is brought from responsibility

2018-06-25 22:21:02 UTC

good point though, all dem SJW's are irresponsible and feel like they have no meaning

2018-06-25 22:21:19 UTC

I think society is more inportant than profits for corporations. A society is like the human body, the different parts of the society need to work together for it to work.

2018-06-25 22:21:25 UTC

well they're responsibilities are misplaced, I think

2018-06-25 22:21:37 UTC

and many are inheriently projecting

2018-06-25 22:21:51 UTC

i.e. calling people racists while being racist themselves..

2018-06-25 22:22:11 UTC

Society IS like a human body,

Feed it good elements and it becomes strong
Feed it bad elements and you end up with diahrrea,

That said, i don't need to fart, to move my arm
So maybe different roads are an option

2018-06-25 22:22:23 UTC

I think profits for corporations have lead to the rise of charities that can make a difference

2018-06-25 22:22:48 UTC

like the bill and melinda gates foundation and their African causes, for example

2018-06-25 22:22:53 UTC

"Racism" or just thinking other races are different from your race is just natural.

2018-06-25 22:23:10 UTC

that's not what racism is

2018-06-25 22:23:14 UTC

different is natural

2018-06-25 22:23:16 UTC

better than is racisim

2018-06-25 22:23:23 UTC

being weary of other races and thinking different ARE natural, sure,

considering them lesser or better in value is not natural

2018-06-25 22:23:39 UTC

What is "racisim" then?

2018-06-25 22:23:50 UTC

thinking your race is better than another just because of race.

2018-06-25 22:24:05 UTC

racism is that you judge someone based on their race

2018-06-25 22:24:09 UTC

before even knowing them

2018-06-25 22:24:30 UTC

racism is prejudice (Pre Judgement)

2018-06-25 22:24:35 UTC

Race is a social construct. Ethnicity isn't

2018-06-25 22:25:10 UTC

thinking your race is different isn't racist

2018-06-25 22:25:24 UTC

How is it prejudice to judge a member of a group which you have experice with?

2018-06-25 22:25:48 UTC

Is this like calling MS13 animals?

2018-06-25 22:25:52 UTC

because you can't tell beforehand if an individual is good or bad

2018-06-25 22:26:02 UTC

I'm not prejuding a group I don't know about.

2018-06-25 22:26:33 UTC

I don't care about the outlier I care about the average.

2018-06-25 22:26:37 UTC

If you know nothing else about this person, just their race,

You can't say if they're good or bad

Hence even if you have bad experience with them, you can not make the claim you know they'll be the same

2018-06-25 22:26:44 UTC

technically there are human races

2018-06-25 22:26:53 UTC

that's not a social construct

2018-06-25 22:27:28 UTC

Yes I know there are outliers but as I said the average is what is important.

2018-06-25 22:27:56 UTC

Alright, If you want to get all Wikipedia on me 😉 But really, Race (White, Black, Yellow, etc) was developed by an anthropologist

2018-06-25 22:28:15 UTC

context is whats important
not the average

2018-06-25 22:28:44 UTC

American blacks for example commit over 50% of violent crimes so should I treat them the same as a white or Asian person?

2018-06-25 22:28:54 UTC

lol

2018-06-25 22:29:19 UTC

yes, you should TREAT them the same initially,

That said, due to statistics, you are absolutely in your right to be a bit skeptical about them

2018-06-25 22:29:32 UTC

and are open to change your treatment based on experience

2018-06-25 22:29:48 UTC

There are distinct physiclogical and medical differences between many, many ethnic groups. Sub-saharan africans are more likely to develop sickle-cell disease, for example.

2018-06-25 22:30:03 UTC

but this does prove the point though,

racism isn't natural, you judge them based on experience and evidence, not instinct
