Seems weird to join a party that clearly has no intention to ever do anything but oposition.

I've seen people not happy with them joining because they think it will turn UKIP more liberal.

I think their reasoning is that none of the other parties are salvageable whereas UKIP is relatively tiny and malleable.

They seem like a one issue party, with a few loudmouths grabbing attention by being crass. But I'm not into British politics so I might be wrong. I wouldn't want to be associated with Farage at any rate, but Sargon seems to think he's a true Brit and a riot.
