i understand that coming from a shitlord but from someone whos antagonizing the right and provoking the left thats NOT a good idea

either she is legitimently willing to put her life on the line for what she wants (which i dont think) or the people telling her what to do somehow convenced her to think that would be an effective safety messure (its not but stupidity seems more plausible to me than courage)

I severely doubt she is under any credible threat, but appearing as if she is being brave in the face of a physical threat is likely to boost her popularity. Not sure what the point of doing that is though, given that she's 79 and thereby unlikely to advance her political career further and her seat is basically guaranteed.
