he needs a better picture because he looks like some of the creeps from my comp-sci classes

2018-08-14 16:32:21 UTC

"*heavy breathing* hey lady, how you doing?"

2018-08-14 16:38:58 UTC

Fuck

2018-08-14 16:39:39 UTC

how did this manage to get by with so little coverage in 2017

2018-08-14 16:39:49 UTC

damn it trump, you hid important shit

2018-08-14 16:40:44 UTC

You didn't know about this?

2018-08-14 16:40:49 UTC

I might need a new browser. Any suggestions?

2018-08-14 16:41:18 UTC

I just use chrome forks with Firefox as backup. Iridium is nice and privacy focused

2018-08-14 16:41:58 UTC

Chrome isn’t good because google. I’ll need to see what iridium is.

2018-08-14 16:42:09 UTC

Chromium?

2018-08-14 16:42:23 UTC
2018-08-14 16:42:28 UTC

Iridium, not chromium

2018-08-14 16:42:37 UTC

It's another fork

2018-08-14 16:42:49 UTC

what's the difference between chromium and iridium?

2018-08-14 16:43:07 UTC

Iridium is like a pseudo private browsing mode and it blocks a lot of shit

2018-08-14 16:43:21 UTC

The catch is that it blocks some sites entirely, which is why I have Firefox

2018-08-14 16:44:19 UTC

@Grenade123 you have nowhere to go. All the major web browsers are like that.

2018-08-14 16:48:29 UTC

Also it sounds like if you aren't using Mozilla's other apps/plugins that this won't affect you

2018-08-14 16:48:43 UTC

not saying it wont

2018-08-14 16:48:49 UTC

Just make sure you use ddg/startpage and not google

2018-08-14 16:48:50 UTC

google might do this at another time

2018-08-14 16:49:08 UTC

They already fluff results

2018-08-14 16:49:11 UTC

@Beemann its baked into the web browser. there is no way to stop that

2018-08-14 16:49:26 UTC

What is baked into the web browser?

2018-08-14 16:52:18 UTC

look above

2018-08-14 16:53:22 UTC

The article refers to specific apps "To make that easier for Web users, Mozilla will look at ways to bring anti-misinformation functionality to existing offerings like Pocket (app that lets you maintain a list of articles to read later), Firefox Focus (a mobile private browsing app) and The Coral Project (which provides tools designed to “raise public trust in journalism” and make it more relevant)."

2018-08-14 16:54:09 UTC

If you were using Firefox on mobile you already played yourself and your poor molten phone

2018-08-14 16:54:55 UTC

oof

2018-08-14 16:55:04 UTC

i dont even use firefox on mobile

2018-08-14 16:55:07 UTC

2018-08-14 16:55:34 UTC

2018-08-14 16:55:48 UTC

2018-08-14 16:59:46 UTC

Sweden cars: 80 set on fire by gangs in several cities

2018-08-14 17:08:38 UTC

I've been getting good mileage out of the f-droid store tbh

2018-08-14 17:17:42 UTC

I don't care that the product itself is unaffected. The company is tainted

2018-08-14 17:18:15 UTC

well thats to be said about anyone

2018-08-14 17:18:25 UTC

nobody can retain a perfect record for very long

2018-08-14 17:18:39 UTC

just because i haven't seen articles (that i'm sure exist) of google banning alt-right email addresses doesn't mean i trust gmail.
