There's nothing irrational about that. Members of the Islamic Caliphate have been saying for **years** that they want to wipe Israel off of the map and kill everyone inside of it.
According to their religion, any Jew is a heretic and an infidel, and the penalty for either of the two is death.
Their cultures are completely incompatible. If Israel wants to exist they have to fight.

All I can say is that Benjamin Netanyahu would likely severely disagree that Obama was any good for Israel.
