Same here. It's not just moving somewhere and becoming like that place, as much as ppl would like to think that. It takes generations growing up together towards a common 'unknow' goal. I think this is way mass migration and multiculturalism is a failer. We are not going to be able to bring so many people up to speed. It will drag us down and send us on another path.

Dunno- imho most important thing for a proces of integration is to be actually exposed to the culture of country that you are in. If you allow migrants to live inside their own muslim enclaves, going to muslim schools, working only with other muslims and being surrounded only by other muslims, then they will never integrate, because how they could do that?

And all those things will happen if you bring to much of those people in too short period of time.

Even if migrants don't self segregate you are going to have problems if there are enough of them that they could. They are going to have an effect, and if they are coming from a society so drastically different it is going to have a larger effect. And this is if they want to integrate. I have not seen one study that shows multiculturalism has a positive effect on a community, not one. If there was one out there the Left would be throwing it in our faces.

Your right it does apply to all groups. We are tribal creatures after all but muslims seem to have a strong identity and the will to maintain it. You can see this in the girls that have grown up in the west and have recently chosen to wear the hijab. It is push back from the friction in the west and rather than trying to help the situation they are actively trying to make it worse.
