If a culture produces a useful piece of clothing or a good meal there's no reason not to adopt it. Maybe some people will cry about minstrel shows or w/e but that's free speech so who cares.

The whole cultural appropriation thing, if you think about it, is just what the ethno-supremacists want. Keep all cultures separate, keep foreign ones from poisoning the superior one, etc
