2018-10-01 11:10:02 UTC

I can beleive that

2018-10-01 11:10:41 UTC

this is why I laugh when people call the UK racist - in a poll our nation dish was chicken Tikka Masala

2018-10-01 11:10:45 UTC

The Pubs all served grease sprikled with fries.

2018-10-01 11:11:10 UTC

french pastry is so so so good

2018-10-01 11:11:37 UTC

The food is good in France I must say that. Especially coming back from the US.

2018-10-01 11:11:51 UTC

I discovered Pain au chocolate in france

2018-10-01 11:11:57 UTC

then tried it in the uk

2018-10-01 11:12:03 UTC

2018-10-01 11:12:45 UTC

Well, I leave you for now. Perhaps come back later ... at the NY open ... cheers.

2018-10-01 11:12:58 UTC

I was like "oh, this is why the french think our food is crap"

2018-10-01 11:13:05 UTC

ttfn!

2018-10-01 12:09:58 UTC

```@Stefan Payne "Anything that has copyright in europe on it" - that includes stuff produced elsewhere, just fyi```
Yes, but I mean stuff you see in every days Pictures like Cars, Restaurants, stuff like that.
And I don't see a reason why the Social Media institutions aren't going to censor that. And when that comes, the Normies really get pissed, when you can't even upload a picture of your car!
That was my point @Redneo
2018-10-01 12:10:31 UTC
And we all know that its Companys like Axel-Springer and co that lobbied for the Article 13 bullshit.
2018-10-01 12:21:29 UTC
Surprising that anyone at vice would put this up.
2018-10-01 12:32:37 UTC
even liberals are getting bored.
2018-10-01 12:33:36 UTC
I'm not clicking that. Got an archive?
2018-10-01 12:34:42 UTC
It's worth a read. Sometimes it's worth clicking on something like this as it tells them to put more op-eds like this.
2018-10-01 12:35:56 UTC
No, I don;t care for Vice and I've never watch SNL. If it shows true personal growth I'll click to their site.
2018-10-01 12:42:10 UTC
the tl:dr of it is SNL used to be funny in part because you never knew which way they would lean in their jokes, even if it was slanted slightly to the left. They would poke fun at where there is fun to be poked at, and gave examples of stuff they could have made fun of that the left has been doing. Or they would give a different spin on things, even if it was the same left leaning direction. Showing Reagan as a mastermind putting on an act unlike the current public perception that he was just a "cheerful bumbler". Now they are full on left right out in the open, no hiding it. And their "jokes" are just telling people the current public perception, nothing clever, innovative, or anything. Zero effort, bland, predictable.
2018-10-01 12:43:33 UTC
Yep, ty.
2018-10-01 12:44:36 UTC
@Grenade123 That's why I like South Park. The run on 9/11 conspiracies is classic and exactly in line with what they were saying about the 1980s Reagan sketch. South Parks' sketches can be a bit over the top, or a bit too subtle, but they hit points in a way that are generally unique and actually still funny.
2018-10-01 12:46:43 UTC
They still make fun of everyone
2018-10-01 12:47:28 UTC
Exactly. The Trump as Cartman and Heidi as the Republican core base was spot on.
2018-10-01 12:47:51 UTC
For example. But you'll never get that from someone at a place like SNL.
2018-10-01 12:48:06 UTC
They're too locked up in their own little bubble and unwilling to branch out.
2018-10-01 12:48:14 UTC
the recent one about school shootings was over the top ridiculous
2018-10-01 12:48:18 UTC
And then there's the whole PC principle thing.
2018-10-01 12:49:17 UTC
I haven't seen that one. I didn't know there was a new season already. Well, there goes my lunch break.
2018-10-01 12:49:50 UTC
when they first brought in PC principle, that whole season was amazing
2018-10-01 12:50:06 UTC
Is that...a workplace relationship? *vomits*
2018-10-01 12:50:55 UTC
I like how they figured out really quickly that everyone was going to go after Trump endlessly so they branched out instead.
2018-10-01 12:55:11 UTC
Matt and Trey said they didn't think Trump would be in the race long hence the Trump Canadian presiden eps
2018-10-01 12:55:23 UTC
so they used all their best materiel there
