UK's problems are easier to solve the more local the authority figure

So the first step is accountability. The UK govt needs to he held directly and entirely responsible for the political and economic decisions of the state. This goes both ways

The UK also needs to be able to control its borders, for a multitude of reasons

It also needs to stop propping up the rest of the Union. The EU depends heavily on UK cash flow, and this dependence will only grow as the Euro inevitably proves economists right and sinks

The UK needs to be able to set its own laws and standards, its own trade deals, handle its own immigration and answer to its citizens directly

It needs to divorce itself from a system predicated on one currency for multiple systems that basically every economist said was a dumb idea from the start
