I didnt say that laws were full on morals I said that they are the minimum allowable morals one can hold without being damaging to others or society.
Europe may be bad but in many cases South America is worse despite being more homogeneous and more religious.
South America has a religious history. That does not make it religious.
There would also be that blacks are religious but also more deviant than average
Some religions have been exactly the same since their inception. Especially moral principles. There was never a time in history where mainstream Christianity endorsed murder, rape, homosexuality, or abortion for example
How many blacks go to church on a regular basis? And what are the basic tenets of their faith?
Catholics are also beginning to accept homosexuality in some ways
The religion is not.
The pope did unless I'm misremembering things
There is also that divorce wasnt in the faiths to begin with
You're not misremembering. However the media takes every opportunity to twist what he says
Further, even as the leader of the church, his own personal opinions cannot change the foundations of the church. We've had worse and we're still here 2000 years later
You also havent said how god enforces morals compared to normal morals
Where as Schools Government jobs and other high profile jobs are all subject to them. Without any mention of god involved.
Morals weakness by itself stems from the fact that no one system is widely used
There was a fool who had a private conversation with the Pope and later said he told him, God made him this way etc. But that statement never actually happened. Only the queer said this, nobody else
God didnt make anyone a certain way really
That god has a plan for everything is my most hated saying regarding religion period
By custom the Vatican does not report on the Pope's private conversations for this very reason. If an illegal immigrant died and he said "very sad" then the leftist media will report that the endorsed illegal immigration and abolishing borders.
I agree on that. While I do believe God has a plan, that doesn't mean he made someone be a murderer, rapist, gay, pagan etc. People cannot blame God for their own sin.
I was just saying. I know the pope right now is a deviant cuck. But it still stands that man makes the law regarding religion now god doesn't.
I won't go as far as calling him that. But he is tainted by a leftist society for sure
God is who decided what is moral. Man can claim something or twist something to fit his own agenda. But it doesn't make it true.
It cant be twisted depending on the method or moral or ethics used.
It also adds ways of measuring it beyond god said so
One of the biggest taboos in morality is doing something primarily for personal gain to the detriment of others.
If it hurts someone else it isnt even allowed in 2/3 systems I know of. at least when it comes to using it for your gain.
you capitalize God, whether you believe in Him or not
FYI
God isnt gods name it a title used to keep from taking gods name in vain
When we say God, we refer to the Judeo Christian deity. Using god is a generic term that could just as easily reference Odin
Just like saying, a president vs the President
It's just a convention of the language
God is still His title
And should be capitalized
if you do not capitalize God, you are, as Ragnarok said, referring to a generic term or a god from a polytheistic religion
God enforces morality by pure invocation alone. When you invoke a higher power with your moral code, that gives it the weight of authority needed for people to respect it.
You don't need the state to force people to follow that morality. Rather, it is conducted purely on the aspect of social pressure and the belief of importance.
When you can get people to believe in something, then that thing acrews meaning and, in turn, becomes important.
John Locke, himself, made the point pretty clear numerous times throughout his political treatise about the importance of religion as a foundation of society.
