While historically, Christian Europe did have slaves, they weren't the same slaves as blacks on a plantation. They were exclusively Muslim prisoners of war and used for military purposes such as rowing ships.

2018-06-26 20:55:23 UTC

It was in fact illegal to have a Christian slave

2018-06-26 21:35:10 UTC

Also, it kind of helps that Christianity isn't a legalistic religion.

2018-06-26 21:50:29 UTC

The Bible tells us why everyone “knows” right from wrong. Everyone is descended from Adam and Eve. The laws are written in our hearts. Your basic human morality comes from God. Things get twisted when sin nature enters the picture and distorts society.

2018-06-26 23:27:00 UTC

Again all the changes in religion to get it where it is today were made by people not god.

2018-06-26 23:28:48 UTC

I didnt say that laws were full on morals I said that they are the minimum allowable morals one can hold without being damaging to others or society.

2018-06-26 23:30:28 UTC

Europe may be bad but in many cases South America is worse despite being more homogeneous and more religious.

2018-06-26 23:51:53 UTC

South America has a religious history. That does not make it religious.

2018-06-26 23:52:59 UTC

There would also be that blacks are religious but also more deviant than average

2018-06-26 23:53:02 UTC

Some religions have been exactly the same since their inception. Especially moral principles. There was never a time in history where mainstream Christianity endorsed murder, rape, homosexuality, or abortion for example

2018-06-26 23:53:29 UTC

How many blacks go to church on a regular basis? And what are the basic tenets of their faith?

2018-06-26 23:54:15 UTC

Catholics are also beginning to accept homosexuality in some ways

2018-06-26 23:54:28 UTC

The religion is not.

2018-06-26 23:54:53 UTC

The pope did unless I'm misremembering things

2018-06-26 23:55:26 UTC

There is also that divorce wasnt in the faiths to begin with

2018-06-26 23:55:42 UTC

You're not misremembering. However the media takes every opportunity to twist what he says

2018-06-26 23:56:16 UTC

Further, even as the leader of the church, his own personal opinions cannot change the foundations of the church. We've had worse and we're still here 2000 years later

2018-06-26 23:56:34 UTC

You also havent said how god enforces morals compared to normal morals

2018-06-26 23:57:42 UTC

Where as Schools Government jobs and other high profile jobs are all subject to them. Without any mention of god involved.

2018-06-26 23:58:24 UTC

Morals weakness by itself stems from the fact that no one system is widely used

2018-06-26 23:58:37 UTC

There was a fool who had a private conversation with the Pope and later said he told him, God made him this way etc. But that statement never actually happened. Only the queer said this, nobody else

2018-06-26 23:59:08 UTC

God didnt make anyone a certain way really

2018-06-26 23:59:37 UTC

That god has a plan for everything is my most hated saying regarding religion period

2018-06-26 23:59:55 UTC

By custom the Vatican does not report on the Pope's private conversations for this very reason. If an illegal immigrant died and he said "very sad" then the leftist media will report that the endorsed illegal immigration and abolishing borders.

2018-06-27 00:00:47 UTC

I agree on that. While I do believe God has a plan, that doesn't mean he made someone be a murderer, rapist, gay, pagan etc. People cannot blame God for their own sin.

2018-06-27 00:01:03 UTC

I was just saying. I know the pope right now is a deviant cuck. But it still stands that man makes the law regarding religion now god doesn't.

2018-06-27 00:03:16 UTC

I won't go as far as calling him that. But he is tainted by a leftist society for sure

2018-06-27 00:05:04 UTC

God is who decided what is moral. Man can claim something or twist something to fit his own agenda. But it doesn't make it true.

2018-06-27 00:07:46 UTC

It cant be twisted depending on the method or moral or ethics used.

2018-06-27 00:09:00 UTC

It also adds ways of measuring it beyond god said so

2018-06-27 00:12:17 UTC

One of the biggest taboos in morality is doing something primarily for personal gain to the detriment of others.

2018-06-27 00:14:40 UTC

If it hurts someone else it isnt even allowed in 2/3 systems I know of. at least when it comes to using it for your gain.

2018-06-27 00:20:28 UTC

you capitalize God, whether you believe in Him or not

2018-06-27 00:20:29 UTC

FYI

2018-06-27 00:24:08 UTC

God isnt gods name it a title used to keep from taking gods name in vain

2018-06-27 00:29:03 UTC

When we say God, we refer to the Judeo Christian deity. Using god is a generic term that could just as easily reference Odin

2018-06-27 00:29:24 UTC

Just like saying, a president vs the President

2018-06-27 00:32:22 UTC

It's just a convention of the language

2018-06-27 00:44:09 UTC

God is still His title

2018-06-27 00:44:31 UTC

And should be capitalized
