There's simply no reason to recruit or even accept people with GD.
and as far as obese soldiers go i wouldn't be surprised if the weight requirements were changed from what they were 20-30 years ago.Ie someone who might have been 10 pounds too fat in the 80's might meat the minimum requirements to enlist now

so long as they are able to stand there watches and do there jobs there is no reason to block them from serving
If they enlist after the military refuses to cover their pre-existing GD then I'll believe its really about service.

Eh, I joined because my father said it was a great way to start your life. And I didnt know what I wanted to do with it either.
not just the pay the benefits too they get feed housed health care it might not be the best but its more then alot of people who joined had before

imo both democrats and gop position are too extreme. I dont believe in sanctuary cities but I also don't believe in some extreme things trump and ice are doing
having some common sense guest worker program and way harsher punishments on business who go around/break the law is what needs to happen

like 5 year prison term for someone who hires an illegal
and incentivise migrants,offer a huge reward for anyone who narc's on their employer who is hiring them
